Our Team

The MIPA Team

We’re normal people in a normal office, doing a decent bit of magic to take care of everything on your to-do list.

We’ve been doing this stuff for over a decade now, since 2007, when Emma first started out as a PA to two successful entrepreneurs who taught her a heck of a lot about the world of small business.

Emma Mills
MiPA founder (and mother of Ralph, Manchester’s most famous Cavapoo)
Emma started out as a PA to two successful entrepreneurs who taught her a heck of a lot about the world of small business. Since then, she’s come a long way, operating MiPA from the helm and even featuring on a nationwide billboard and radio campaign for the Department of Business! Emma’s followed in her parents’ footsteps, growing her own business from scratch (and developing a real talent for mom dancing). Her favourite tip for productivity? Just start.
becky
Becky Barlow
PA Team Leader (and secret party planner)
Travel-obsessed Becky is always on the lookout for another country to visit and add to her 35-strong list. She’s got a secret penchant for party planning, and once managed to pull off a spectacular wedding for 150 people with just 4 months’ notice. Becky reckons making a to-do list first thing in the morning is the perfect “procrastination antidote”, and she’s also the wife of a professional, competition fisherman. Yes, that’s really a thing.
bex
Rebecca McKee
PA to MD (and Ryan Reynolds’ “girlfriend”…)
Rebecca prides herself on her faultless performances of the cup song from Pitch Perfect – just mention the film and she’s straight to the cupboard to grab the beakers. When it comes to staying productive, she’s another advocate of the wonderful to-do list, because they give you a feeling of obligation to tick everything off before signing off for the day. Rebecca also claims Ryan Reynolds is her boyfriend. We don’t say anything because we love her.
helena
Helena Richardson
Sales Executive
Helena’s part of the furniture here at MiPA and loves feeling part of our great team. Not one to be outdone by the eye-related talents of other staff members, Helena prides herself on being able to roll one eyeball while keeping the other still. She will show you, though we advise you don’t ask, for your own good as well as hers. On the productivity front, Helena always advises customers to “do what you do best, outsource the rest”.
jake
Jake Crompton
PA and Accounts Assistant
Jake’s got a multitude of talents besides being an excellent PA. He’s a dab hand with a make up brush and can speed-read anything phonetically! Jake went to high school in France and this man understands what a real croissant is. Don’t get him started on the packaged stuff. For keeping on top of productivity, Jake always advises that you start the day by going through all your tasks and coming up with a game plan to make sure you hit your targets.
matt
Matt Lindsay
Operations Manager
Matt’s a level-headed sort of guy whose favourite tip for productivity is to “prioritise and execute”. He’s always advocating taking time to order tasks by priority, so you know when and where to start. Pretty nifty with a pack of cards too, Matt. (Just don’t let him deal if you ever sit down for a game of Poker.) He’s published a 5-star reviewed poetry book on Amazon and takes inspiration from Joe Rogan’s open, honest approach to journalism.
charlotte
Charlotte Bennett-Smith
Receptionist (and MiPA magician)
Charlotte’s a history gal, splitting her spare time between studying for a History degree and tracing her family’s genealogy back some 500 years. She’s going down in history too since a friend of hers named a character in a book after her! She’s also a got a few cards tricks up her sleeve that always leaves us bamboozled after a couple of drinks at an office do. Charlotte’s top tip for productivity is to take regular breaks to get a breather when you’re busy.
julia
Julia Snelling
Receptionist (and ramen-on-ice specialist)
Ramen-crazy Julia used to live in Japan and has tried different noodle soup from virtually every region there. She’s a great ice skater and knows her way around an ice hockey rink too. It’s probably not too surprising then that her favourite tip for productivity is to remember to move! A quick stretch or a walk around the office is enough to reset you when tasks are becoming lifeless.
Linda Gabriel, a woman with long brown hair, smiles at the camera. She wears a dark floral shirt and gold necklaces. The background is a white brick wall.
Linda Gabriel
PA Team Leader (and worm winner)
Productivity queen Linda’s no stranger to hard work – in a previous life she won multiple European Championships as an acrobatic dancer, and these days she uses the same level of determination to save time for our clients.  Fluent in German, she’s super close to her inspirational mum, and if you buy her a glass or two of Prosecco, you might convince her to do the worm for you!
Erin Williams, a young woman with long brown hair, smiles as she stands in front of a white brick wall, wearing a brown and beige striped top.
Erin Williams
PA (and Beer Pong Specialist)
Erin puts her great work/play balance down to her diary. She sensibly schedules down time and social events into each day, to leave her with a clear period in which she has to be productive if she wants to progress. She’s inspired by her lovely late Grandma, whose imperfect but impactful life gave her a fabulous example to follow, and beer pong is her secret talent – the more she drinks, the better she gets! In her eyes at least…
