If you don’t know who I am, let me briefly explain – I’m the MD and owner here at MiPA.

For several years, I worked as a PA for high-level executives and business owners, before launching my own thing in 2007, working as a virtual assistant to business owners and entrepreneurs.

My business has grown a lot since then – we’ve now got 40 on the team, and we support over 400 businesses all over the UK.

If you’re a serious business owner, chances are you’re spending money on marketing.

But if you’re marketing but not answering the phone when it rings, you’re almost certainly missing out on business.

If a prospect is interested in your product or service, and they can’t get through to you on the phone, what do you think they’re going to do?

Most likely, they’ll go elsewhere, to a business that’s actually prepared to take their call.

Which means…

Each marketing pound that you invest is a complete WASTE if you don’t nurture the lead or close the sale.

So, we’ve reached two conclusions:

1. You shouldn’t be answering the phone
2. The phone still needs to be answered

What are your options at this point?

1. You could get an employee to do it

If you’ve got an employee, then maybe they can answer the phone, while you get on with the business-building stuff. 

But if you HAVE got employees and you’re still missing calls, it’s probably because they’ve got too much to do, so you might need to hire one to make sure you end up with all your calls answered.

If you’re a one-man band, this solution’s a little trickier.  An employee’ll cost you a bare minimum of £20,820, which isn’t exactly loose change!
