How a great PA service grows your business – from small to large (or back again)
Whether you’re building your business, making sales or leading a team, how you spend your time in your business is the biggest indicator of how successfully you grow.
The mantra has always been to focus on growing your business, not wasting time on “low value tasks”.
However, there’s a bit of a misconception around what “low value” means and it could be holding you back from really taking your business to the next level.
“Low value” doesn’t means the tasks are not important. They are. Clearly, appointments need to be set, calls followed up and basic admin done (with lightning quick efficiency, preferably ;))
But beyond that, there are also tasks which are mainly operational and are still vitally important to your business.
These are bigger than the £10 an hour tasks (like admin, diary management, etc) but aren’t tasks YOU should necessarily do, like customer support or sales follow-up.
What do I mean? Well, let me explain.
Imagine you’re so successful at marketing and sales your business grows rapidly and more customers come flooding to your business. Great news, right?
But it causes a headache. How are you going to support all those new customers without compromising your reputation and customer service levels you’ve taken years to build up?
For most businesses, the traditional approach would be to rapidly recruit more support staff.
Which means additional costs, a time lag between the long process of recruiting and getting them up to speed… and not to mention it takes you or other members of your team away from things you really need to be working on.
Not so for one of our customers.
Needing to guarantee a consistent, timely experience for his growing customer base, we took over his company’s entire customer support function.
While he focuses on driving sales and marketing the business, he can relax in the knowledge that whatever business he’s bringing in will be fully supported and new customers (and old) will be properly looked after.
Best of all, his customers know no different. It feels and sounds like his customer support is still all part of the same company so customers are none the wiser.
And it doesn’t have to end there.
For example, another of our customers has handed over his complete enquiry and sales operation to Mi-PA.
His company runs its marketing campaigns and our team make sure no stone is left unturned when those enquiries come flooding in on the phone. He no longer has to worry about missing any inbound calls from potential customers and losing revenue, just because he doesn’t have sales staff available when needed.
He still has complete control over his sales process but now has the flexibility to scale up as quickly as his business can handle.
People used to say “as your business grows, a great PA service grows with you” but I don’t believe that goes far enough. I believe a great PA service can actively help your business grow.
How your PA service works for you really is at the limit of your imagination.
Worried you may be spending longer dealing with £10 tasks than £1,000 tasks that move your business forward?
I have the answer. Click below to fill out your details and I’ll send you a Mi-PA Productivity Pad, designed for busy entrepreneurs who need to get a grip on their working day.
And if you already know you need a little bit of support (or a lot!), give me a call on XXX and I’ll run through the ways we can help your business grow.
